Did you ever wonder When Rainbows Sleep? Right before nightfall they stream one last blaze of vivid colors across the evening sky as they make their way home. Pulling up their tails they tuck themselves behind the warmth of the setting sun. As the moon rises it pats the little rainbow on her head gently."Have a sweet night little one it's time for me to glow now rest up.The rainbow giggles happily watching the glowing moon rise higher and higher in the night sky. As the stars begin twinkling like a thousand little diamonds the little rainbow rolls slightly onto it's side. Pulling the fluffy cloud under her bowed head she falls fast asleep. All is quiet on the river as the last bit of smoky colors slowly disappear into a velvet blue sky. © 2017 Robyn L. King
