Description
Oblivion by Robyn King
One of a series of images taken in Center City Philadelphia while visiting my father January 2020 shortly before he passed away. It helped calm me to take photographs through the window with my IPhone and kept me from crying. I knew my dad was dying and was powerless to stop it. Now six months have past and I finally can bring myself to share them with you.I know he would have wanted me too. I love you Dad I will always keep you close to my heart. If you enjoy an image in this gallery and would like to purchase it. All Sales go to The Stroke Foundation for research. That is what killed my father two massive strokes to his brain stem. So much research needs to be done in this area..Thanks so much for your support and have a beautiful day:-)

I am so glad I opened this image to read the full description Robyn. Thank you for sharing this and how you were feeling. I lost my father last year and it was devastating to me. I took photos for a year but did nothing with them. It was catharic, but too painful to do more since he was integral to why I got involved with photography. Because he inspired me and I am farther from the pain, working on improving my work and getting it out there now makes me feel his presence everyday. Especially since he was with me when I took the images. Deep aloha to you Robyn.
