Description

Dawn at the Delaware River starts early on a Sunday morning in late November but that isn't a deterrent for me. I roll out of bed at 5:30 intent on seeing the sunrise. It has been awhile since my last visit to the river and I am feeling really excited to watch a brand new day unfold before my eyes. It is so beautiful watching heaven and earth do an amazing dance of changing light and shifting cosmos as the new day emerges from it's cloak of darkness. The days I sleep through I feel a little disappointment even though my body may feel rested. I would be content to feel tired every single day yet have the pleasure of the new day in a beautiful array of vibrant colors that light the heavens with pure joy.The dusky blue sky turning aglow with pink and golden streaks was energizing to watch.Life was good once again full of amazing possibilities just waiting with the sun as it slowly made it's beautiful journey across the sky. I knew now that anything in life is possible...it is our hopes,and dreams that make each day a treasure to behold.© 2016-17 Robyn L. King
